Ms. Lori L. Nevarez founded Innovar Environmental, Inc. (Innovar), in Denver, Colorado in November, 2000. Her unique perspective and expertise in the financial and environmental consulting and construction fields gave her the ability to pursue her dream in starting a company and working for clients in the government and private sector. Over her twenty year career she worked for various companies in a financial management capacity, overseeing financial and administrative operations.

As the name implies (in Spanish, “Innovar” means to innovate or to be innovative). Ms. Nevarez goal has always been to find “innovative solutions” to a client’s problems and needs. It is not good enough to “keep doing things the way they have always been done” one must always ask if the work can he done differently, what is the cost or time effectiveness to the client; will the work performed produce a better product; and what is the impact to the environment.

Ms. Nevarez and Innovar’s fundamental missions are honesty ethics, integrity. Ms. Nevarez and Innovar will always operate on the basis of the company’s mission.

Ms. Nevarez believes success is not defined by what one individual has accomplished, but by what the team has accomplished together collectively. She believes in a work environment where all individuals are created equal and not defined by position, where opinions and ideas are valued and considered and where respect is not just an idea, but a practice
